The Tamang community celebrates Sonam Lhasar, the New Year’s festival today. According to the Manjushri calendar, the Tamang community celebrated the New Year as a one-of-a-kind festival.

The so-called losar is divided into 8 classes, including rats, cows, tigers, rabbits, dragons (clouds), snakes, horses, sheep, monkeys, birds, dogs and pigs. Starting from today, the pig year is starting to finish. He said that the Sonam Lhasar festival was one of the important festival of Tamang. He said Tamang was playing an important role in identifying the language, art, culture and clothing of Tamang. He said all Tamang of Kailali had gathered at Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan ward no. 8 and celebrated the Sonam Lhasar.

According to Sukwir Tamang, a consultant from the far western province of Nepal Tamang Ghadung, who is a priest of nature because of the number of animals in Lhasar being counted as an animal. He went to Sonam Lhasar Gumba and said that it is a tradition to burn the planet, make sweet sweets and eat a group. Sunita Tamang of Fulwari said that the women and sisters in Sonam Lhasar also celebrated the festival by offering pardon and offering prayers in the morning.
